TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®/INTERNATIONAL, Inc. was ranked No. 197 in this year’s Annual Franchise 500® list. This is the 18th year the company has made the list.

Entrepreneur began researching in July 2009 by asking franchisors to participate in the survey. More than 700 companies made the first cut and the top 500 were determined based on financial and statistical data from July 2008 through July 2009. Franchises must send a full Franchise Disclosure Document to be considered.

Basic requirements include a minimum of 10 units (with at least one based in the United States). All franchises regardless of size, are judged by the same criteria: objective, quantifiable measures of a franchise operation. The most important factors include financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system, according to the Entrepreneur Web site.
