TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® announces this year’s “Achievement In Excellence” winners

Lansing, Mich. —The nation’s largest independent moving company, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, has announced its top-performing franchisees via its annual “Achievement in Excellence” AIE recognition. The awards are based on a point system that measures customer satisfaction, including referral rates, customer service and safety incidents. The winners represent the top performers out of more than 200 independent moving franchises across the United States.

Gordon Shaffer of Las Vegas is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s top overall performer across all metrics; Bob Gomori of Youngstown, Ohio, has been recognized as the top overall in customer service and Eileen Marrison of Omaha, Neb., has been awarded with the humanitarian of the year designation with more than 1,000 hours of donated moves during the past 12 months.

Brig Sorber, president and CEO and one of the company’s founding “two men,” says the award recognizes the “best of the best” of franchise operators in what has been a challenging environment for many business owners during the past year.

This year’s AIE awards are further impacted by the company’s recent recognition by J.D. Power and Associates as “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Full Service Moving Companies” in 2008.

In addition to “number one franchisee,” “number one in customer service” and “humanitarian of the year” designations, the company recognizes the top 14 overall performers in its annual AIE awards.
