New Web site continues company’s customer service, education efforts
Lansing, Mich. – Educating consumers on the moving process is an important part of the customer service provided by residential and commercial moving company TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, and its new Web site (released April 1 at www.twomenandatruck.com) provides additional education while continuing to provide the personalized customer service that consumers have come to rely on.
“Our goal is to exceed customers’ expectations,” said President Melanie Bergeron. “The goal of the new web site was to offer one place where consumers could go for all of their moving needs – whether the needs are acquiring moving services, simplifying a do-it-yourself move, or getting tips on transporting belongings safely using proper packing techniques.”
Joe Mongiat, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s multi-media marketing specialist who designed the new site, said there are two features in particular that will appeal to those planning a move.
“There is now a comparison guide that will allow consumers to directly compare moving companies that they are researching to perform the move,” Mongiat said, adding that it allows those doing the research to compare apples to apples in terms of type of pricing, levels of insurance, and the types of services offered.
Mongiat also said that the new “Request for Estimate” form was much easier for consumers on the site to use. “It now offers two options; a quick estimate and a detailed estimate,” he said. “It allows web savvy consumers to complete the entire estimate on-line and gives those less comfortable with computers to simply type in their information and be contacted by a ‘live’ person.”
Started as an after-school endeavor for two high school boys, the Michigan-based TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system has grown to become the fifth-largest moving company in the United States with 118 locations in 25 states and over 720 trucks on the road.
