Lansing, Mich. – TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®/INTERNATIONAL, Inc. recently hired two new employees at its headquarters – Lauren Wesley as the new human resources assistant and Nick Van Huis as the new marketing/communications assistant for the summer of 2010.
Wesley, of Lansing, is the new human resources assistant. She has worked for more than five years in Lansing in the fields of sales, marketing and project management. She previously worked for Accident Fund Insurance Company of America and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
In her new position, Wesley will assist HR in research and data gathering, process mapping, development, testing, training and implementation to help the moving franchises.
Nick Van Huis, of East Lansing, is the new marketing/communications assistant. He is a senior at Michigan State University studying communication and public relations. He most recently worked for the MSU Beyond Coal Campaign, where he was the head of Media Relations. He has also worked for Entertainment Publishing and the MSU student radio station 89FM The Impact.
As the marketing/communications assistant, Van Huis updates the company blog, distributes press releases, updates website content and monitors media hits nationwide.
