Core Value: Give back to the community
Giving back to the community has been a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® mission since its first year in operation. The moving company started in the early 1980s as a way for two brothers, Brig Sorber and Jon Sorber, to earn extra money in high school. Their mother, Founder Mary Ellen Sheets, took over the business when they left for school. Sheets donated the first $1,000 profit by distributing it between 10 different charities.
This commitment to giving is shared by franchises across the country. We believe in supporting our communities. Locations donate thousands of hours and money to non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army. In addition, a portion of every move completed by the system is annually donated to the American Cancer Society.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is proud to be a community and industry leader. We work hard to exceed customer’s expectations. Providing the best possible service is the cornerstone of our business.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has also established a set of core values that we live by.
