Two Men and a truck did a great job! I have been using Planes United for years and called Two Men and a Truck after I was tersely informed that Planes didn't have availability, and would need to do a site assessment if I used them. Two Men and a Truck had the availability I needed and was able to do the assessment over the phone- a lifesaver considering I was planning a move while traveling every week for work. The movers were punctual and made the moving day easy. There was one lamp that did end up damaged- but it was an old lamp and the movers were as careful as possible.

I would definitely use Two Men and a Truck again as well as recommend the service to others. Thanks for everything!

The final price was almost double of the quote even though no new items were added. They arrived a little after 9.a.m on the 23rd of June, and they left a little after 1 p.m.While they were packing, they were told several times that we only had reservation for the elevator at our new place 'till 5 pm. We had to leave our nice double door refrigerator behind due to the inability of the driver to take off the door since it did not fit through the doors. I told him to leave it,since we had to be out that following a.m. They took lunch, and when they arrived at our new place (less than 10 miles)they were told again that I had to get permission to extend that time-which after much pleading they agreed. They finally finished around 7 pm.There were some scratches otherwise-no major damage. As to your crew, the driver seemed to be fairly professional(aside the refrigerator problem)He did not push the other 2 helpers, although the younger of the 2 did move quickly, the older was not properly motivated- thus the large cost overrun- I found out that you don't have steady and trained crews aside from the driver. I don't know whether this is done on purpose or it's a marketing strategy to give a fair price in the beginning, and then have an in-experienced team perform the move. Anyhow the damage is done, you made a lot of additional money, and you've gained a very dissatisfied customer.

It's been months since our move and after several attempts no one has addressed our antique iron bed that was dropped and broken by the movers. All we got was " someone will call you to make it right" also was charged $150 for television box that was supposed to be refunded. Never happened.

The order was placed as Road Island instead of Rhode Island. The movers drove around for 35 minutes because they couldn't get it into the Garman. It was a 7 minute drive, 10 minutes tops, so I paid for time I shouldn't have. The repair on the damaged wall and door was excellant. The two little spanish movers were so strong and efficient. Thank You

My father sold his condo in Windsor and on June 26 we moved his bedroom set and several other antique pieces that are heirlooms to my home in McFarland. Your company was perfect in every way, easy to work with, timely, communicated
well and the movers Montrell and Keith were amazing. I can't say enough about them, courteous, thoughtful and
efficient . When my husband and I move I in the next year or so we will definitely call Two Men and a Truck.

The person that did the over the phone estimate didn't provide and accurate estimated cost, but the two movers worked really hard to keep the loading, driving, and unloading to a near the estimate cost. I had to about $100.00 over the estimated amount.

The two men that worked to move us were professional, hard working and answered any questions we had fully I would recommend the two particular movers that assisted us, but unfortunately I was not pleased with the estimate that was provided.

Sincerely,

Wendy J. Smith

I wanted to give Excellent marks all around but had an issue. We needed a large La-Z-Boy sofa and recliner chair moved from our house to our daughter's house. Everything was just fine until I returned home and noted large gouges and scratches on our mahogany front door where the movers damaged it taking the furniture out the door. The one distressing point was they did not tell my wife they had done this and left it for me to find afterwards. Thankfully, Scott Sculley was awesome working with me to get it repaired and providing prompt reimbursement for the $200 repair work. His efforts and concern will make me a repeat customer. I'll write this off as a mistake which was handled professionally and courteously. By the way, the delivery guys were fantastic at my daughter's house getting the furniture in there.

While the movers were prompt and courteous, I heard a few pieces of furniture hit the ground and didn't feel they were handled properly. Our TV stand was broken, reported as glass break but upon further inspection, the back and shelves were broken and had to be thrown away. Also, I have an antique buffet that the shelve was dislodged but we were able to get it back in place.

Our tow movers were fantastic. Very professional and efficient, with great customer service skills and a great sense of humor. I would recommend
these guys and this company to everyone who needs moving services.

Dwayne & Al were on time and very professional. They took good care of my things and moved everything without incident. I would recommend they very highly.

Thank you Richard P., Joshua L., and Mark S. for being so nice. Everyone was professional, friendly, and took very good care of everything. The guys were on time and did the complete move in less time than I thought it would take. They were very careful with the furniture but also about not bumping doorways and walls. Very impressed with them and the company.

We moved in June, and it was not a pleasant experience. We had Justin and Dwayne. Dwayne was careless....he broke one of my prized plants, put a hole in a porch screen bring an item in and hit the ceiling with a queen size bed frame carrying it over his head going up the stairs.
My l 1/2 year old refrigerator would not go into the kitchen without both doors coming off. That turned out to be my husband's job. We did not realize that at one point, during the move, a couple of good sized dents were on both doors. One was so severe that it's down to the bare metal. It did not leave the place we were moving from in that condition. The beds were put together with absolutely no tightening of the screws. The work of one man was done on certain things which really required the two. We had furniture carried in upside down, which resulted in a mess. Not a good move. Normally I don't complain, but this needed to be said.

I forgot about this survey at first, but when we started looking into it again, we remembered how amazing our movers were! They did a great job, moved us quickly, without damaging goods, and were extremely polite and friendly. We've already recommended Two Men and a Truck to friends and family multiple times.

The Two Men and a Truck moving crew, Alex G., Adrian and Jarrett were AWESOME! They arrived on time, reviewed every part of the paperwork, packed and wrapped everything, loaded and unloaded with precision and courtesy.

When we arrived at the storage facility, the management there was extremely complimentary of Two Men and their standards, professionalism and efficiency and said Two Men is their pick every time.

Pre-move check points from your office personnel, the move team, and the recommendation by the storage provider ensure I'll choose Two Men for my next move, big or small.

These guys were amazing! Fast, efficient, and extremely careful. They were very friendly and helpful, and definitely the least stressful part of this entire move.
by Angel from Beacon on
I compared Two Men with many other companies and they were the only ones with a quick 3 days delivery vs the 4-10 open window from others. I moved ahead of my family to SC so wanted a local company that can go back to NY, help pack our items, and deliver back in SC. They were definitely the right choice with the best price.

I received a link with the GPS tracker of the truck so I can tell at all times where it was and how close it was to our home in NY and SC. They arrived on time both places and move took just 3 days (left Fri to NY, pickup Sat, delivered Sun in SC). All items were secured and nothing was missing.

The only setback was that our new King bed frame had two drawers and a mover fell on of them as they were moving a dresser into the MB, braking it completely. I can tell he felt really bad and it was something that can happen to anyone. Two men sent a quality manager onsite the next business day and quickly looked at the damage and ordered two new drawers (cannot ordered only one) directly from the mfg. This will give you an indication of the kind of company they are and the value they offer.

I will definitely use them again in the future since I know they will be there for me in case something bad happens. I highly recommend you pay for valuation insurance in case something similar happens to you. All companies have good/bad reviews online so I am glad I went with my original selection. Also note that pricing never changed and there was no surprise from what they quoted.

We had to move from a 4th floor building with the slowest elevator in the world. We thought it would take hours to get our furniture loaded on the truck. We had 4 of the nicest guys, I only remember the name of two, Keith and Antoine. They took all the furniture apart, packed it with care and loaded the truck within 2 1/2 hours even with the snail elevator. We were pleasantly surprised. When we arrived at our new home, they placed everything perfectly. They put together all bed frames and couches quickly. They even helped me to rearrange a small room so everything fit nicely They were the best, I would use your moving company again and recommend you highly to anyone who needs moving. What makes this even sweeter is the cost was actually lower then what was quoted to us and that also is due to the diligence and efficiency of my special team of guys. Thank you for making a stressful day a lot easier to bear.

On time, very friendly, careful with everything, and quick. Highly recommend. My job was small, so I was happy to see the guys move so quickly. My total time was under 2 hours and I was charged accordingly. Very pleased with this service.
by Catherine from Columbia on
Overall good experience, the two movers were very courteous and worked very hard. The only thing I would complain about is the amount of time it took to initially load the truck. It took much longer than they had anticipated and felt the company should have sent someone out to assist them and notify us of the delay. Also, while the movers did a good job we felt they were lacking some experience (example: unaware of time difference, problems with arranging and stacking boxes/furniture in truck).

The movers were on time, extremely polite and efficient. They handled our belongings with care and worked quickly. This was the third time we have used two men and a truck, we will not only use you again, we will most likely request Carlos S. and Manny R. the next time we need your services. They were exemplary employees.

Patrick and his team were amazing, and so professional, kind, and super efficient. They were so careful, and even rebuilt our furniture on the other side, and still only hit the 4-hour minimum. Would recommend the company (and that crew) to anyone.

Service was great. I did not need any boxes since we were just moving furniture across the hall.

I would like to take the time to write an awesome review for Two Men and a Truck! The guy I spoke with on the phone was very polite and professional, going over the minimum rate, charges, and fees. Once I confirmed the move, I was charged $100 deposit 48 hours before my scheduled move-in date. I also received a phone call from the office on that day before my card was processed to confirm the move which I greatly appreciated. On the day of the scheduled move, I received a phone call from the actual movers informing me that they were having issues with the truck but would still arrive on time. I was told the movers would arrive anytime between 9am and 10am---even with the issues they still arrived around 9:45. The movers were very nice and professional, taking the time to explain every step of the move-in process. Total time to load my items from my apartment into the truck was 30 minutes. My travel time was also about 30 minutes to my new apartment. Once we arrived at the apartment, the movers took extra care by placing the moving boxes in the appropriate rooms and even assembled my bed, dresser, and couch! Total unload/assembly time was 1 hour, so my complete move from start to finish was 2 hours. I am very pleased with Two Men and a Truck and would recommend them to anyone!

The three men were very professional even though it was the hottest, most humid day this summer to move.
by Michael from Atlanta on
This is a very professional company and gives good value for the money. The three guys they sent- and unless you really don’t have much stuff- I recommend three- showed up on time and worked all day moving a ton of stuff accumulated over 30 years. Rondoll, Shannon, and Bob were all very polite and receptive to any suggestions/requests. They drove to the new location very slowly and carefully. The biggest challenge was getting a huge desk upstairs to the Library and also a very large chest around a tight double staircase. It looked impossible but they got it done!

Excellent pre and post move service.

I hired Two Men and a Truck to pack my house and they did an outstanding job!! I was very impressed with the individuals who came and handled everything. They were professional, courteous, kind and took very special care of my items as if they were their own! I moved from Marion, Iowa to Nashville, TN and everything was in a POD for 2 months. I recently just unpacked and there were no issues at all with any of my items. I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck for packing! The team I had was absolutely fantastic!! Thank you! - Kimberly Stiles

These guys rocked! Had to move my moving day out a day due to construction delays and they worked with me on the time line. Had 4 guys and 2 trucks move me out of 4 storage units and then helped with reloading and organizing one. They were polite, helpful, and fun!

AWESOME - our 4 movers were the VERY BEST - helpful, courteous, efficient, and all around very nice guys. They made our move a delightful and less stressful experience. We would recommend Two Men & A Truck to everyone.

I was overcharged by 35%, which Two Men and a Truck agreed to refund but never did. Also, the movers damaged our newly refinished wood floors and they will not reimburse me for repairnig the damage. Mark Manaski

The 3 gentlemen who worked with me were excellent. We had multiple pick up and drop off points and they were patient and helpful. Our last drop was at Goodwill and while the supervisor and I handled the final paperwork the two young men assisted an elderly lady in unloading her car of their own accord. I was duly impressed with their customer service and their compassionate spirit.
by Brenda from home on
Christian, Austin, and Zack were amazing! They moved my in-laws from their home of 22 years into a retirement community on a blazing hot and humid August day in Florida. These young men were courteous to my parents, respectful of their items, knowledgeable in their job, and FAST! I was especially impressed with the way Christian looked after his team and kept the communication going, stepping in to do any job. That young man was everywhere!

After 64 years of marriage, the accumulation of stuff was impressive and there had not been nearly enough downsizing prior to the move, but these young men managed to fit every box, bag, and stitch of furniture into the apartment, including two large couches, and they set as much up as was possible due to space limitations.

A manager at Two Men and a Truck, ROB, sucks the big one. The office made a mistake and told the movers our furniture was going from storage to storage. They knew we were going from storage in our apartment to our new build (house). Movers said they had the wrong information and they were told it was from storage to storage. They said therefore the quote was wrong and the charge would be a LOT HIGHER. They called Rob and I asked if he would work with me on the price because it wasn't my mistake it was theirs. He got mad and told the movers to remove our items from their truck and cancel the move. The movers obviously were not happy and treated our goods roughly as they unloaded the truck. Some of our items were scratched or damaged by this rough treatment. It took them 2 hours to load the truck and 15 minutes to unload it.
You can imagine how it was handled to unload it in 15 minutes. I tell everyone I meet how we were treated by Two Men and a Truck. In all my years I have never seen a manager act like a child. Thank goodness I had the apartment paid until the end of the month and didn't have to be out that day. I called All My Sons and they came down the next day and moved us. With a manager like Rob I don't know how you stay in business.
by Felicia from Boynton Beach on
Was very unhappy with office staff - she failed to reimburse me for boxes that were rented and returned - even after repeated requests. Also, I requested and never received a receipt for the total bill as the copy I received the day of the move is illegible.

In addition, after unpacking all of the boxes I realized how poorly the china was packed by one of the movers - several items were broken - very careless mistakes. Lastly, there were only 2 movers and there should have been 3 - it took them way too long to load the truck.
