UNL students, we've got your back (quite literally)! Move-in/out days on campus are absolute chaos, you know this. Wouldnt it be nice to avoid the whole process and let us handle the moving for you? I think so. Most college moves can be complete in only a couple of hours. Avoid the stress and chaos, give us a call and let us handle it for you!
in-home moves
Are you painting your home or installing new floors? The dust, noise, and mess of a renovation are stressful enough, but most people overlook the fact that contractors and installers will not move and replace the furniture in the area being renovated. That is where we come in! We can arrive before the renovation and move your items to a safe area We will also wrap and protect them until they are ready to be moved back. Don't forget, we also offer storage if you have nowhere to store the items while work is being completed.
Just need help to rearrange a few pieces of furniture? We can help with that, too. Our movers often joke that not only are they professional movers, but they are also professional interior decorators! POOL TABLES, SAFES, AND PIANOS – WE CAN MOVE IT!
Professional experience and safety training are paramount when executing large-item moves. Luckily, we have both! Just when we think we've seen it all, we get a call to move a 1,000lb steel replica of the transformer, Bumblebee. Yes, that really happened, and we moved it! If you have a unique item that you need to be moved, give us a call and we will do our best to help out.
Here is a list of common items that we can and cannot move.
What we CAN move:

- Two-piece slate pool tables (slate must be crated)

A few tips for your big moving day
- Start planning early: Don't wait until the last minute to start packing! The sooner you start, the less stress you'll feel when moving day arrives. Plus, you'll have more time to procrastinate... I mean, meticulously organize your belongings.
- Declutter: Time to say goodbye to those questionable fashion choices and that broken kitchen gadget you've been holding onto for years. You know you'll never use them again, so why not donate or sell them?
- Label everything: Make sure to label your boxes clearly, unless you want to play a fun game of "guess which room this belongs in" later on. Bonus points if you use puns or witty labels! Don't forget, we offer professional packing services!
- Pack an essentials box: This box should contain everything you'll need for the first few days in your new home. You don't want to find yourself frantically searching for your toothbrush or your favorite pair of socks!
- Prepare for the first night: After a long day of moving, you'll want to relax and unwind. Pack a special box with your favorite snacks, drinks, pajamas, and blankets. And don't forget to set up your bed – you'll need a good night's sleep after pointing and telling us where to put things!
- Take care of yourself: Moving can be stressful, so take some time to take care of yourself. Take breaks when needed, hydrate, and don't forget to indulge in some comfort food (or wine) when you need it. You've earned it!
