Giving back to the community has been a tradition at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK since the company began in the 1980s, and this is highlighted by Movers for Moms®.
Movers for Moms® is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s international giving program aimed at assisting moms and families in need. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations in the U.S. and Canada partner with various organizations to collect essential items and then deliver them to women’s and family shelters and organizations throughout the springtime.
How the program works
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations partner with local businesses, schools, and other organizations to collect essential care items, such as soap, toothpaste, clothing, diapers, and more. Once all donations are collected, moving teams pick up and sort the items and then deliver the donations to the shelter recipient.
Investing in moms everywhere
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has a strong influence from women in various roles. Company Founder Mary Ellen Sheets was a single mother, so this is our way of showing appreciation for the efforts of all moms and families. In 2026, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK U.S. locations were able to collect and donate more than 519,000 items to local shelters and organizations, and the Canadian locations collected more than 4,500 items having a great second year running the program.
2026 Results in the U.S.
- Movers for Moms was a national program in 47 states: supporting hundreds of shelters across the U.S.
- 519,363 items were collected nationwide! This generous donation brings us to a total of more than 2.5 million donated items throughout our 19-year program history!
- Movers for Moms partnered with nearly 1,500 businesses, schools, and other community collection sites across the U.S.
2026 Results in Canada
- 2026 was the second year Canadian locations had the opportunity to participate in Movers for Moms.
- 4,520 items were collected in Canada through the Movers for Moms program.
- Locations partnered with 32 collection sites.
