Your Fort Collins Movers
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Fort Collins is a local moving company serving families, students, and businesses across Northern Colorado. We opened in 2011 with two trucks and now run nine, and our team brings more than 30 years of combined experience to every move, which has earned us a 98% referral rate. We're grateful for the relationships we've built by MOVING PEOPLE FORWARD®, helping our team members grow their careers, and supporting local nonprofits around Fort Collins.
WE live by THE GRANDMA RULE®
We follow THE GRANDMA RULE® and treat every customer the way we'd want our own grandma treated. Moving into a new home is a big step, and our team works hard to make it an easy one. Every mover and driver is background checked, drug tested, and trained through a three-week, hands-on program before their first move. We're licensed, insured, and bonded, and we keep updating our training based on feedback from customers after every move.

Senior Services
We've always followed THE GRANDMA RULE®, and it shows on every senior move. Our Fort Collins crews take their time, help you decide what goes where when you're downsizing, and keep the day calm for you and your family. If a parent is moving into a smaller home or a senior living community, we can pack for you and store anything that won't fit straight away.
Boxes & Packing Supplies
Our Fort Collins location sells moving boxes in every size you're likely to need, along with wardrobe boxes, dish barrels, tape, packing paper, bubble wrap, and mattress protectors, and we can deliver them straight to your door. Our team is always happy to share packing tips. If you'd like to hand the packing over, our crews can pack your whole home or just the kitchen.
Internal Moving
Our crews can rearrange furniture in your home or office, carry heavy pieces up or down the stairs, and clear rooms before a remodel or new flooring. It's a big help when you're staging a Fort Collins home for sale. You'll get the same careful handling as on a full move, and you book by the hour with no truck needed.
Storage
Our in-house storage in Fort Collins is climate-regulated and monitored 24/7, so your things stay in good condition all year. It works well when your closing dates don't line up, and it's a handy option for Colorado State University students who need somewhere to keep their things over the summer. Store for a few days or a few months, and we'll deliver everything when you're ready.
Load & Unload Only Services
Renting your own truck or portable container? Book our Fort Collins movers by the hour to load it, unload it, or both. You handle the driving and keep your costs down, and our trained crew takes care of the heavy lifting, padding and wrapping your furniture so it travels safely.
Long Distance Moving
If you're leaving Colorado, our long-distance team can move you anywhere in the U.S. with door-to-door service and flexible scheduling. Long-distance moves are priced by weight and mileage, so your estimate reflects what you're moving and how far it's going. Our sales and operations teams plan every step with you and keep you updated until your things arrive.
Giving Back to the Community
Fort Collins has supported us since 2011, and giving back is one of our core values. We offer free moves to local nonprofits, sponsor fundraisers across Northern Colorado, and collect donations every year through our Movers for Moms® and Movers for Mutts® campaigns. It's our way of thanking the community that's helped us grow.
Professional Movers
Our movers know Fort Collins well. Late August is our busiest time, as Colorado State University students arrive and rentals around campus change hands, so book two to four weeks ahead in summer. Snow can arrive anytime between October and April, and our crews protect your floors from snow and salt. Homes around Old Town often have narrow stairs, and many newer neighborhoods have HOA rules on moving trucks, so mention both when you book.
Frequently Asked Questions
What moving services does TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Fort Collins offer?
We offer local and long-distance moving, packing and unpacking, load and unload only help, business moves, furniture rearranging, and climate-regulated storage. We also sell boxes and packing supplies and can deliver them to your door. Tell us what your move involves, and we'll put together the help you need.
How much do movers cost in Fort Collins?
Local moves in Fort Collins are charged by the hour, and long-distance moves are priced by weight and mileage. Your total depends on how much you're moving, how many movers you need, and how far you're going. Your estimate is free with no obligation, so you'll know what to expect before you book.
Do you offer packing services?
Yes. Our crews can pack your whole home or just the rooms you'd like help with, such as the kitchen, glassware, and artwork, using quality boxes and packing materials. We can unpack at your new home too, so you're settled in sooner. If you're packing yourself, we sell all the supplies you need.
How far in advance should I book movers in Fort Collins?
Two to four weeks ahead is ideal if you can manage it. Summer is our busiest time, and late August gets especially busy once Colorado State University students head back and campus rentals change hands. If your dates are flexible, fall and winter usually give you a wider choice of days.
Do you provide long-distance moving?
Yes. We can move you anywhere in the U.S. from Fort Collins, with door-to-door service and flexible scheduling. Long-distance moves are priced by weight and mileage, and you can add packing and storage if you need them. Our team will plan every step with you before the truck leaves.
Do you move pianos and safes?
Yes. Our crews move pianos, safes, and other heavy or awkward furniture. Just mention them when you book so we can bring the right equipment and enough people to move them safely, which also helps us give you a more accurate estimate.
